Girls' Bathroom Empty Re: Girls' Bathroom

Post  Head Admin Fri Dec 17, 2010 3:16 pm

Quinn stood in front of the mirror for a moment, admiring the Cheerios uniform that she wore. After having not worn it during the spring semester and summer, it almost felt slightly odd to be back in it. There was no denying it though, she loved the way that it had fit her once more and the rush of popularity that was associated with it. She had worked hard over the summer; losing the weight that she had gained from the pregnancy and trying to find a way to regain her social status at McKinley.

It was not the same as it had been before the pregnancy though. There had been a time when popularity was everything and nothing else was of importance. When all that mattered was how others perceived and admired her. Now though, trying to regain the social status of Queen of the school was more so for salvaging her image after having Beth. She knew it was possible, yet she also knew there were other important things too.

She loved Glee; something that when she had first joined under Coach Sue’s wishes, she had never thought she would ever admit. Sure, there were times when she was annoyed with some of the people in the club, such as Rachel and now Santana, but she was able to usually look past her frustration with them. She rarely talked to Finn and Puck, which after last year, was rather odd. She understood though why Finn would want nothing to do with her, for she had caused him a lot of pain. Puck though, after everything they had been through, it was odd. She tried to not let it faze her, for Puck wasn’t the “good guy” that she should associate herself with. Sam, on the other hand, was. He had his moments that were dorky, yet there was something adorable and charming about him. She knew that the two of them could totally take over McKinley if they wanted to.

After making sure her appearance was perfect, she decided that leaving the bathroom would be best. Being late for Glee Club was something that she definitely did not want. She had an image and status to regain and maintain, and she was going to do everything she could to reclaim the confidence in herself.

Girls' Bathroom Empty Re: Girls' Bathroom

Don't think about it, don't think about it. Mercedes thought to herself while she ran to the nearest girls bathroom. Getting slush-ied in the face sucked anyway, but now having to face it with out her best friend, made it so much worse. She didn't want to think about the fact that without Kurt, she really was kind of lost. She had no one to walk down the hallway with looking just as fabulous as her.

Sure, there was the glee club. But with Quinn always worrying about her social status and Tina and Artie always hanging with their significant others, who did she really have when she needed someone? Finn? Um... no. Puck? HA. Rachel? HA-HA. Lauren? Mercedes took the time to stop and shiver at that thought. Having a heart to heart with someone who 'Rocked Puckerman's world'. Another shiver.

She could try talking to Santana, but of course the conversation would just transfer from anything that was going on in Mercedes' life to the color of Santana's new lingerie she had gotten for a rendezvous with Puck.

She didn't want to go all Celine Dion on herself, but really, she was--

"All By Myself." Mercedes wiped a tear that was blue thanks to the slush. She opened the bathroom door only to feel a big thump. Realizing she had hit someone, she hurried and opened it fully to see Quinn on the ground, grasping her forehead.

"Quinn! Quinn, I'm so sorry, I was just in a rush 'cause Karofsky and his macho men were-- forget it, but I'm still sorry girl." She helped her friend up, still a little worried she hadn't responded. "Quinn? You okay?" She hoped Quinn could here the worry in her voice.

Quinn held her forehead, rubbing at it slightly and thinking about how there would probably be this massive bruise now. How completely embarrassing. Coach Sue was probably going to freak out at her too, just another thing to add to her difficulties this semester. She then realized she should probably respond, so she opened her eyes as she was helped into a standing position. "It's fine Mercedes. It was an accident," she said, trying to keep her tone gentle. She frowned when she noticed the blue on Mercedes face. "Someone got you?" she asked. It had been ages for Quinn since she had gotten slushied, and it was something she didn't miss in the slightest. "Are you alright?" She would forever be grateful for Mercedes who had helped her immensely when she had no where to go during the pregnancy.

Mercedes pulled out her Clean-Up Kit, and started wiping away the blue until she could see her chocolate skin again. Praise the lawd. "I'm good, you get used to it, you know?" She started wiping her hands off while noticing Quinn watching her. "Really, I'm fine. You know us diva's, nothing's gonna rain on our parade." She faked a laugh softly, she was getting really good at that.

Quinn nodded, fully remembering the days when she had gotten slushied. It still somewhat amazed her that she had finally come back from those days and didn't have to worry about the slushie days. "If you're sure," she said softly, moving over to the mirrors and looking in them. She rubbed at the red area on her head, frowning when she realized the bruise was already beginning to form. "Mercedes," she said, turning to the girl beside her. "If it still bothers you, you know you can talk to me, right? After all that you've done, I'm more than grateful. I'm here for you. I always will be."

Mercedes took out her cover-up. Well, it was Kurt's but she always carried it around. He left it with her when he went off, and left her all alone... Anyways, "Here ya go, it's not a huge bump, but if you keep rubbing it, it'll be noticeable." She handed her the cover up. "I would let you use mine, but I don't think our shades would match, you'd leave looking like a Dalmation." She smiled at Quinn genuinely, she really did care about her friend. And it felt good to know Quinn cared about her too. "And I do appreciate the offer, but I know how much you're going through now, with Beth and all..." She noticed Quinn look down. "Sorry, is it too soon to mention her?"

"Thank you Mercedes," she said softly, taking the cover-up with a small smile. She stared down at it for a moment before opening it and beginning to place it on her face. "The Dalmatian look definitely isn't a good one," she said, letting out a light laugh. When Mercedes mentioned Beth, she glanced down at the sink for a moment. She tried to not think about the baby she had given birth too, for it nearly tore her apart. Was acting like Beth didn't exist the best thing though? It was if trying to erase the whole ordeal made it alright. It wasn't though. "No, it's fine," she insisted, looking up to face Mercedes. "I just...I try not to think of her very much," she admitted. "Probably not the best way of trying to move forward from the whole thing."

Girls' Bathroom Empty Re: Girls' Bathroom

Post  Delilah Mae Thu Jan 27, 2011 9:25 pm

I really hope I don't get in trouble for this.
--------------------------------------
Delilah walked through the halls in her short black pleated skirt, black knee high converses, and a white blouse. Let me use an empathize in WHITE. She had been in Glee for a couple days now, and couldn't think of anything that could go wrong. She had amazing people in the club and the singing was phenominal.

She had been thinking about trying to show her different talents to the club, but she doesn't want to seem like she was showing off or sucking up. As much as she loved her, she didn't want to turn into a Rachel. She also wanted to make more friends. Let's see...who are her friends in New Directions. Rachel...Finn...Uh Finn...yeah. She definitely needed to make more friends. She only had two friends, and she wasn't going to survive high school with that. She really had to change that.

But anyways, that didn't stop the bright smile on Delilah's face. Her face as beautiful as a flower. But the flower wilted along with her smile when a ice cold cherry shushie collided with her face. Some jock said something about how she was a loser and Glee sucked. But she didn't care. She thought back to her first day when she seen someone in Glee get shushied. Would this happen all the time? She looked around and looked at all of the people around laughing at her.

The humiliation...she couldn't take it. Tears ran down her cheeks as her lips quivered. She ran down the hall, being careful not to slip on the red liquid that was dripping from her face and her long dark curls. She ran into the girls bathroom and ran the sink, in order to try and clean up.

Girls' Bathroom Empty Re: Girls' Bathroom

Mercedes entered the girls washroom, her English class was in the next few minutes and she needed to polish her make-up before 3rd period started. Especially since she had her eye on that foot ball cutie with the dreamy, rich chocolate eyes that always asked her for a pencil, she wanted to impress him and it started with looking her best.
As she strutted over the sink she noticed an unfamiliar face standing before the sink, red slush dripping from her beautiful completion to the tiled bathroom floor.
“I’m guessing you’re the new girl?” Mercedes asked, slipping a grape-fruit face wash out of her make-up kit. “We’ve all been there,” she insisted, sympathetically handing her a cashmere wash cloth and the face wash.
“I’m Mercedes Jones, McKinley High Glee Club’s Diva, and you are?”

Delilah looked at the girl in shock. Why was she helping her, no one has ever helped her before. She wiped the red liquid from her eyes, "I-uh...hi. I'm Delilah Mae Fincham, new girl of McKinely High." she introduced before turning to the mirror to see her damage. She looked at her shirt, her new top, completely ruined, her hair, destroyed, her brand new knee highs, stained, all because of douchebags with no talent.

She looked back at Mercedes' sympathetic face and lightly took her face cleanser, "Thank you." she said softly.

Mercedes shook her head as she examined the socially-wounded girl. From what the looks of it, her outfit was potentially pretty cute. It would have really been a head turner, except those knuckle-dragging bastards had decided to comment on it with a slushie facial.
Those were the days...actually come to think of it, they still were the days. For all she knew, the minute she left the bathroom Karofsky and his gang of pea-brained jock friends could be awaiting her along with a blueberry slushie attack. "Here," Mercedes, a master with make-up and all things beauty, helped her clean herself up. As she applied the make-up, she asked: "So, Delilah, what gave you the nerve to join Glee?"

After a few more minutes, Delilah's face was clean. Next, what was she going to do about her hair? She stringed the strands soaked in the delicious ice liquid. Mercedes helped her with her make-up, and she couldn't thank her enough. She listened as Mercedes asked her a question. She shrugged, "I don't know, I love to sing and I love Glee. I heard about you guys at last year's Sectionals and Regionals. You guys sound freaking amazing, and I wanted to be in a #1 group that are still considered the underdogs." Delilah said.

Mercedes face glowed when she grinned at Delilah gushing about their under dog status. That's what she always loved about glee club. The adredaline and the uplifting feeling whenever they entered a competition, not knowing the states. Then they'd set their differences aside for just a moment, and just sing their hearts out. Their hearts and character always gave their performances a much more magical feel.

She finished applying the make-up and then turned her around so she'd be facing the mirror. "There we go, good as new", she insisted- admiring her work. Then she looked down at her slushie-stained ensemble. "Ooh, what to do about the outfit, I'm sure Quinn has some extra clothes you coud wear. I can text her?"

Mercedes' grin was so contagious that Delilah had to glow back. Delilah turned to the mirror to look at herself. She gasped at the masterpiece the diva made her face into. "MERCEDES! You are a mircale worker. Thank you so much!" she exclaimed. She listened as Mercedes suggested to text Quinn for clothes. "Um...yeah, that would be super DUPER nice. But whose Quinn?" Delilah asked, still oblivious to the people in New Directions. The people she sees everyday, typical Delilah. "But what about my hair? It's sticky and disgusting!" she whined. "Bleh!"

As Delilah gushed about her make-up expertise, she flipped her hair smugly as she was showered with praise. "Why thank-you, it wasn't a tough one...considering how naturally beautiful you are!" Mercedes insisted, playfully nudging her in the arm. She released a friendly laugh until Delilah asked her who Quinn was. Her eyes slightly widened in shock. "I know your the new girl on the block but have you been living under a rock?" she giggled in amusement as her tease had rhymed. "I'm only kidding. Quinn Fabray is the Queen Bee. She's all kinds of popular. Yet she associates with the less fortunate since we saved her ass last year." Not wanting to get into the details, she closed the topic with a wink. When Delilah whined about her hair, Mercedes didn't respond verbally right away. Instead, she pulled out her coach bag which enclosed a selection of hair care products. "Who says diamonds were a girls best friend?" she joked, poking at the cliche phrase.

Delilah slightly frowned when Mercedes asked if she lived under a rock. "I don't really pay attention to people unless they confront me." she said with a shrug. She thought for a moment, "Quinn! Is she the one who was pregnant with Puck? Oh Finny already told me about her!" she exclaimed randomly. She looked back to the mirror. She pouted at her hair before Mercedes pulled out her care products. "Eek! I officially love you Mercedes! You are a life saver!" she exclaimed gleefully.
