The Michaels Household

Justin had asked Lucy around for dinner with his family, though why he didn't really know, probably just because Holly and Kira seemed to like her. Also he thought his parents might like it if he bought a...."nicer" girl around to his house.

Lucy was honestly a bit surprised when she met Justin's family. She was a bit nervous about meeting his parents, of course. But she tried not to think too much about it, and be herself. She thought about all the other Carmel girls Justin had probably brought home, and figured she'd be a bit more charming, to say the least.

Justin opened the door to let Lucy in.
"Welcome Lucy." Justin smiled as he let her past.

Lucy smiled just as politely back with a thank you, and stepped inside the house. It was decorated beautifully, and she couldn't help but be a bit taken aback at how home-y it all felt. Although her house was just the same floor plan, that fact never crossed her mind. For all she knew, she stepped into a whole different universe. "Your house is...erm...nice..." She said, a bit jealous her parents weren't as creative with the money they had.

"Thanks...mom does interior design." Justin said.

Lucy nodded, understanding. She looked up with a smile when she noticed Justin's mother enter the room.

Justin's mother, Michelle, smiled happily when she saw Lucy. "Hi, you must be Lucy, I'm Michelle." she smiled.

Lucy smiled, and nodded. "Yes! I'm Lucy. It's nice to meet you, Michelle."

"Pleasure's all mine. Why don't you two go into the lounge? Kira and Holly haven't stopped talking about you Lucy, they really like you."

Lucy smiled. "Really? That's awesome!" She said, happy to hear about Kira and Holly. She nodded when Justin's mother told them to go into the lounge. She went over to the place his mom had pointed them to, and sat on one of the couches.

Justin followed Lucy into the lounge where Kira and Holly ran over to her. "Lucy! Lucy!" They giggled happily.

Lucy laughed when they came running over to her. She put Holly on her lap, and Kira to sit next to her. She still held on to the keychain. She smiled. "Hey, you two!"

"Are you staying for dinner?" Kira asked.

"Yes, I am, actually." She said with a smile.

"Yey!" The girls clapped. Justin smiled and sat down.

Lucy picked up a small brush that was laying around and stared to brush Holly's hair. "So, how old are you two?" She said, transforming all of Holly's hair into a long, braid. She did the same to Kira, listening intently.

"We're both 5....but Kira's older by 10 minutes." Holly said.

(So they're twins?)

Lucy nodded, handing the brush back to Holly. "So you two are best friends, aren't you?" She said with a smile.

(Should've made it clearer!)

"Yes best friends....and Justin's our best friend too." Holly smiled.
"Thanks Holly." Justin laughed.

Lucy smiled at Justin, almost a little smitten. She noticed, and turned back to Holly and Kira, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Justin just stayed quiet. Watching Lucy and his sisters.

Eventually, Kira and Holly went off to play dollhouse. Lucy was about to say yes, but would feel a bit awkward playing pretend with the little plastic dolls. There were plenty of fake, plastic girls around her most of the time. It'd be too ironic. Lucy looked over at Justin. "So...why do you want me to keep this quiet? I prefer this side of you more than the other." Lucy said, messing with the trim of her shorts.

"It's not the best persona when I'm around some of the others and Goolsby....my competitive streak helps me go further."

Lucy nodded, understanding. "I get what you mean..." she said, quietly. If she hadn't gone to Carmel, maybe McKinley instead, she wouldn't be as amazing a dancer as she was. And she knew it... in fact, she knew it well.

Justin smiled.
