"But yours is beautifuller!" Delilah exclaimed.

And it was true. The former broadway star had a more wide range, more full tone and vocals than herself. Sure Delilah could sing high notes, but Alex could do both. She was jealous, thank god Delilah was a good dancer, that way she felt as if she had an actual purpose being in the Glee Club with Alex in there now.

Mackenzie entered the auditorium quietly. In her right hand she held a book full of sheet music and on her left shoulder was her back pack. She fixed her shirts and her scarf as she looked around the auditorium as she made her way to the stage making sure it was empty. She dropped her back pack in one of the seats in the auditorium and slowly made her way up the stage. She stopped in the middle of the stage and looked around. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. She could remember the days her mother would sing to her and her dad would play the piano. They had a music room in their house so they always put on shows for her and her siblings when they were younger. She had always dreamed of singing and playing piano and dancing but those dreams left when her parents did now all she wanted was to find someone who cared because it seemed to her no one cared except for Blaine and Kristina. She made her way to the piano and ran a hand across the cold surface and smiled faintly. She sat down on the bench and opened the book of sheet music. She opened it to a song she had written a few days ago. She looked around again not seeing anyone and began to play and sing the song. She hadn't noticed some of the other musicians backstage and they slowly joined her picking up the song by listening. She flashed a grin at them as she continued trying hard to concentrate only on her music and not the fact that she was no longer alone but accompanied by some musicians.

She read me the note he left on her bed
