The Hummel Household

Each time Blaine made a pleased little whimper, Kurt knew that he wanted to make Blaine make another one. He had been completely wrapped up in how good Blaine was making him feel, but once he noticed it made him feel even more amazing to know that he was creating the same pleasure for the boy he was so completely in love with. It was Blaine's noises more than anything else that made his entire body suddenly start to feel warm and tingly. As the kiss became more fiery again, he became increasingly aware that he was going to need to stop--or perhaps just cool down, he amended really not wanting to stop--or he was in danger of embarrassing himself completely.

He pulled back the intensity of the kiss, his hands moving to cup Blaine's face gingerly as he once again captured Blaine's lower lip between his to draw it out slowly. As he did so, he very carefully twisted his lower body and eased back until he was partially out of Blaine's lap, leaning back against the arm rest with his legs draped comfortably over Blaine's. One of his hands moved to rub the nape of Blaine’s neck, coaxing him to lean into the kiss. The other hand hesitantly moved to Blaine’s chest. For a few moments Kurt was certain he could feel Blaine’s heartbeat against his fingertips. Experimentally, he let his hand glide very slowly across Blaine’s torso and back.

Another soft whimper escaped Blaine’s lips as Kurt slowly pulled away from the kiss, his eyes flashing open to look adoringly into Kurt’s. When he felt Kurt’s hand lightly massaging the back of his neck, he leaned in and kissed Kurt briefly before pulling back, lightly sucking at Kurt’s top lip before breaking the kiss completely. He brought both hands up to lightly cup Kurt’s face, smiling warmly before he pressed soft, light kisses to Kurt’s face, starting at his cheeks, then his forehead, then his nose, before returning his lips to Kurt’s again. He slowly let his hands slip from Kurt's face, letting one wrap around the other boy's waist as the other hand rested lazily on Kurt's knee.

Kurt closed his eyes as Blaine kissed his forehead, and barely supressed a small laugh as he felt Blaine's lips against his nose. He arched up a little bit as he felt Blaine's lips once again on his. When he felt Blaine's arm slip around him, he let out a contented sigh feeling protected and revered. He once again slowly pulled away from the kiss. His pupils dilated as he gazed admiringly into Blaine's eyes. He leaned his body in, wrapping his arms around Blaine's neck and gently pulling their bodies flush. He nuzzled Blaine's cheek.

It was on the tip of his tongue to tell Blaine that he loved him. He most certainly felt it, but it seemed far too soon to actually say. Cosmopolitan Magazine warned of scaring men away by saying those words too soon. Plus, they hadn't really even gone out on their first date; he refused to count the fiasco at Breadstix as a date. And if it was too soon to say "I love you" it was probably too soon to say "I'm all yours", too. He felt it. Strongly. But again, that was the sort of clingy-sounding thing that scared people away. So he kept it to himself, instead whispering, "You're amazing," directly into Blaine's ear. He tugged softly on Blaine's earlobe with his lips before slowly working a trail of featherlight kisses down Blaine's jaw, and then to his neck.

Blaine smiled at Kurt’s words but before he could come out with a reply, Kurt’s lips were on his neck. His eyes fluttered shut again and a soft, content hum escaped his lips. He opened his eyes again, still smiling as he looked down into Kurt’s eyes. "Why, thank you," he replied, smiling warmly at Kurt. "You're pretty awesome, yourself," he added as he gave Kurt's knee a light squeeze. Then he removed the hand from Kurt's leg, instead wrapping both his arms around Kurt now that they were as close as they could get.

Kurt closed his eyes, resting his head against Blaine's shoulder, his face tucked into the crook of Blaine's neck. His chest was still heaving a little bit as he slowly got his breathing back under control. He loved the feeling of having Blaine's arms around him and would be perfectly content to spend the rest of the night that way. "You make me feel so safe," he murmured, barely loud enough to even be considered a whisper. He let his hand rub small gentle circles at the nape of Blaine's neck, dipping just a little bit below his shirt collar every few cycles.

Blaine couldn't keep from smiling to himself. Ever since he met Kurt, the boy had always been worried about Karofsky and the bullies, and hearing him say he felt safe was one of the greatest things Blaine had heard in a long time. He quietly gave Kurt a light squeeze, holding his body close as he rested his head on top of Kurt's, lightly nuzzling his cheek against Kurt's hair until he realized he had messed it up a bit. He pulled away for a moment and brought one hand up to gently fix it, taking his time as he slowly ran his fingers through Kurt's hair.

Kurt was so relaxed that he didn't even mind (much) when Blaine ruffled his hair. He smiled as he felt Blaine fixing the problem himself, smoothing his hair down gently. It felt nice. And soothing. And he was pretty certain that he could just fall asleep right here in Blaine's arms and...and that would be really horrible for Blaine being trapped like this for who knew how many hours? Plus, he hadn't even done his moisturizing routine...still, he couldn't really bring himself to be that upset. Not that he could forgo the routine of course, but...it was worth putting off for a few hours if it meant staying right here in Blaine's arms.

He was supposed to be working on Sam's costume. And needed to fix his coveralls. He should really...

Later. He wanted just a few more perfect minutes.

He lowered his hand and dreamily began tracing a figure 8 (well...an infinity/eternity symbol, but Blaine might get freaked out if he figured that one out, so he mentally was turning it on its side) against Blaine's chest.

Blaine sighed softly as he rested his head back on top of Kurt’s again, feeling comfortable enough to fall asleep just like this, with his arms wrapped around Kurt and Kurt snuggled up against him. As he felt Kurt’s hand tracing a design along his chest, he closed his eyes and found himself even closer to falling asleep though he tried to stay awake.

As he sat there on the couch snuggled up with Kurt, he mentally replayed everything that had happened so far that night- Other than Breadstix with Karofsky and the drunken Sam incident. Dalton had made him feel safe when he got there and he was ecstatic when he became their lead vocalist, but he had never really felt genuinely happy until Kurt arrived. And as he sat there with Kurt on the couch, he couldn't think of anyone else he'd rather be with.

Sam had never been the best of sleepers; especially since he was under so much pressure he really had trouble sleeping. He tossed and turned continuously in the unfamiliar bed, trying to regain a dreamless sleep. But no luck, there was no use into falling into a deep sleep. So still, hammered, he settled on exploring this mystery household.
He wobbled all around the upstairs level, acknowledging family photos and little tinker toys. That’s when he got a glimpse of what was happening downstairs:
It was Kurt, although…he thought he was Kurt. He wasn’t exactly sure due to how blurry everything seemed to be. And he was sucking someone’s face…it was Harry Potter! Why on earth was Kurt sucking Harry Potter’s face? He thought he was with Ginny! Didn’t he like sing a song about it or something?
That’s when he realized something, Kurt had probably faced Lord Voldemort and he needed Harry Potter’s help. He was the boy who lived, after all. Harry was probably transferring all of Kurt’s powers into him. Yeah, that’s it. Made perfect sense. Sam wouldn’t be too surprised if he emerged the next day with a lighting bolt scar on his forehead. Sam shrugged it off, humming the sweet melody of the song ‘Ginny’ as he had finally fell into a slumber invaded with dreams.

Kurt knew he should probably spend a few minutes talking about what had happened tonight with Blaine, to make sure that he wasn't just making a fool of himself by thinking that this meant more than what Blaine thought it meant. He also considered that maybe he should admit to Blaine that his problems with Karofsky had gotten about a hundred times worse tonight. But he really didn't want to ruin anything by becoming too serious, and he really didn't want to freak Blaine out about what he might be getting himself into by spending time with Kurt. He really owed it to Blaine to warn him that the scene at Breadstix was really only the tip of the proverbial iceburg. He should know what he's getting into. But Kurt selfishly couldn't bring himself to say anything. Not tonight. Not while everything was going so well. He didn't think he could take it if Blaine decided that he couldn't handle all of the melodrama. Kurt felt a lump growing in his throat and could feel the tears threatening. Blaine deserved better than this. But he didn't want to give it up.

He took a few deep breaths. He needed to focus on something else. His hand stopped over the top of Blaine's heart and he felt the slow steady thrumming. "I should really get up and check on Sam," he admitted aloud, "but I really don't want to move."

Blaine kept his eyes closed as Kurt spoke, not really wanting to move either. But he knew that it'd be a bad idea to not check up on Sam occasionally. "Neither do I," he agreed as he pressed his forehead to Kurt's. He stayed like that for a few more quiet seconds, not feeling at all motivated to go check on Sam. Not when everything he had right in front of him was so perfect. But...Sam had a lot to drink and he'd been pretty quiet recently. As much as Blaine wanted to think Sam was sleeping, he figured it'd be a good idea to check just in case. "Want me to go with you?" he asked quietly after a while, despite his longing to just snuggle with Kurt until he passed out.

Kurt smiled at the offer. "Well, I wouldn't turn down more time with you," he flirted shamelessly. "And I'm far more likely to actually get up if you do as well," he added lightly, nuzzling against Blaine again. "But if you want to relax, I should only be a couple minutes," he gave Blaine an out. He'd already done so much to help out with Sam.

Sam had heard the thumping of foot steeps and quiet chatter from down below. Harry must be sharing magical secrets with Kurt or something...he tip toed to the bottom of the stairs to intently eavesdrop on their secretive conversation.

He heard them speak about coming up stairs to meet him! Oh my god as Sam lived a breathed! He was going to be confronted by the Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived. There were so many questions to ask...and such little time. Although, for some odd reason Sam vacantly remembered what happened in the series. Oh well! He dove back into his bed and fantasized of being bestowed with grand powers too like Kurt, even if his face had to be sucked up.

"You kidding? I couldn't sit here alone and make you do all the work," he said, grinning as he got up off the couch and pulled Kurt up with him, before adding only half jokingly, "And I'd miss the whole couple of minutes that you'd be gone." He leaned over and softly pressed his lips to Kurt's, letting them linger for a few moments longer before pulling back and leading Kurt up the stairs to the room they had left Sam in.

When they got into the room, Sam was still there in his bed looking quite comfortable. It was still weird to see Sam here in front of him again but at least he was sleeping now. "Just where we left him," he commented quietly, not wanting to wake up Sam.

Kurt smiled at Blaine, pleased that he'd come along, even if it was just for a minute that they would have been apart. Sam appeared to be sleeping quite soundly, so it seemed that they were past the danger point of having him vomit all over the bedspread. He silently crossed the room so that he could pull the blanket up over Sam.

To the boy's utter astonishment, Sam had exploded the minute he had felt their presence. His eyes budged out of his head and he jumped sky high into the air before leaping an aggressive launch on to Blaine.
"Harry! Harry! Harry! Potter! Its you!" he clutched him tight, not planning to let go. Continuously, Sam sprang up and down. "I ave so many questions to ask you...."
"Is the chamber of secrets like the same thing as coming out of the closet?"
"Why doesn't Professor Snape never wash his hair?"
"How much is the percentage of Weasley freckles multiplied by the times Neviel screws up?"
"Would you rather quickie Cedric Digory or Justin Bieber?"

As Sam leapt from the bed, Kurt stumbled back then froze in borderline terror of an attack. But then he realized that although an attack of sorts was happening, he wasn't the target. His eyes widened as he saw the way Sam was clutching Blaine. BLAINE! And the...crazy nonsense that he was spouting...after a few moments he recognized some Harry Potter references and groaned. He quickly moved to try and pry Sam off of Blaine. "Sam," he tried to get the boy's attention, tugging on his arm and trying to pull him away from Blaine. "I am so sorry..." he found himself saying once again to Blaine as he tried to ease himself between his drunken friend and...dare he hope for 'boyfriend'?

Blaine found himself being tackled by Sam...again, though he was glad he managed to stay on his feet this time while Sam clung to him. "I...Um..." He blinked a few times as he tried to understand what Sam was saying. Did he really look that much like Harry Potter? He thanked Kurt as the other boy got Sam off of him and took a moment to flatten his shirt down and get the wrinkles out of it. "It's fine. I should probably be used to getting attacked by now," he laughed lightly, thinking of the other two times that Sam had come at Blaine that night.

Kurt smiled wanly and forced out a nervous little laugh, though he felt slightly sick at those words. No one should ever be used to getting attacked. He knew Blaine was only joking and that Sam's attacks were harmless (and perhaps under different circumstances might be quite funny), but...it all hit a little too close to home. "Come on, big boy," he urged Sam, trying to turn the blonde around so he could get him back to bed.

Sam flopped around as if his body didn't consist any bones, like a rag doll. But he had finally made it to the comfort of the bed. "Aren't you going to tuck me in, Harry Potter?" he asked Blaine, eyes blinking innocently. "Tell the story of when you defeated Lord Voldemort and don't leave out a single detail-"
Sam adjusted his position, snuggling under the covers- searching for the perfect position. "Okay, go!"

Blaine blinked. He sighed and decided that it would just be best to play along with everything, so...he tucked Sam in nice and quick then stood up next to the bed. "Um...Actually, the details are kind of fuzzy. Why don't you try reading the books...or watching the movies? Trust me, they tell the story better than I could," he said with a nod. "I would only bore you with the details."

Kurt covered his mouth so that neither Sam nor Blaine would see his amused smile. He also couldn't help but think just how adorable Blaine was as he tucked Sam in.

Sam stubbornly shook his head. "Nuh-uh, I want to hear the story straight from Harry Potter!" he pouted, crossing his arms in rage. "I have a rule. I never read books that can't fit in my mouth. And ya know what? Most of the Harry Potter books can't fit in my mouth!" He exclaimed, arms flailing in the air. "And I have a pretty big mouth!"

Blaine was about to protest, but decided against it and sat down on the edge of the bed, shooting Kurt an amused look before turning to Sam. He could summarize the Harry Potter books in about a span of two minutes...Maybe. He took a deep breath before beginning his 'life story.' "Alright. So, when I younger..." He paused for a second. If Sam wanted to hear the story from Harry Potter himself then he probably wanted something different from what the movies said. ""I was in the car with my parents when we crashed...into a crocodile. My parents got eaten but then the crocodile took out a knife and gave me a scar," he said seriously. "Then I ended up living under the cupboard for eleven years before some huge guy came and told me I was a wizard. That's when I went to Hogwarts and met Ron and Hermione. And then we fought off Voldemort for seven years, and we won and all was well." He glanced over at Sam, hoping that this story would satisfy him because he was running out of ways to give Harry Potter his own twist.

Kurt clapped lightly, a big grin spread across his face.
